Overnight Camping at The Forge!

“Camp Over” is happening again this summer!
We are so excited for this Forge Favorite overnight camp experience for your 11-14 year-old camper!
Spend 2 nights and 3 days with us, utilizing the 300+ acres of land we have at The Forge: Lemont Quarries and the surrounding area. Campers will spend their days doing Forge activities, specifically designed programming to foster leadership and teamwork, cooking breakfast, preparing dinner and creating memories with friends around the nightly campfire. Nighttime fun consists of unique activities only available to Camp Over campers such as Nighttime/Sunrise Kayaking, Midnight flashlight hikes, moon lit kids adventure zone play and much more. We love to maintain the element of surprise, so we won’t spoil everything we have planned!
Activities such as hiking, fishing, birding, bouldering, ziplining, slingshot, slacklines, exploring creepy crawlers & animal habitats, nature art, woods awareness, storytelling, games and hammock are all part of the 3 days. Please bring your bike as we will be biking trails throughout the park.
Drop-Off is on Monday, June 29 @ 8:30am Pick-Up is on Wednesday, July 1 @ 3:30pm Ages: 11-14 (maximum of 20 campers) All meals included: prepping, planning and cooking over a campfire and camp stove.
Disclaimer:Mandatory parent meeting after camper check in on June 29, 2026. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure your camper has packed all appropriate items for the next three days as well as a deep dive of rules and expectations and able to answer any questions.Campers will set up their own tent after parents leave the meeting.
