Our Climb & Zipline Adventure Guides are in charge of monitoring the ropes course and are active in the management of guest and staff safety as they explore throughout the park. Both in the air and on the ground, Adventure Guides provide encouragement, assistance, support, and guidance to guests all while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor. Demonstrate course stewardship and assisting in course, equipment, and site maintenance when directed which may include cleaning, repair, inventory, and inspection.

Must attend and pass a paid 6-day 40-hour training session including a skills assessment (written and practical)
Must have a basic standard of physical fitness, endurance, communication skills and manual dexterity.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including sun, rain, wind, and extreme heat/cold for extended periods. Job requires employees to be outside for the entirety of each shift
Require decision-making, risk management, and customer service skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure in situations at height.

Hosts operate fully from the ground, coaching guests and assisting guides in identifying those in need of assistance on course.

We are looking to grow our amazing team of adventure enthusiasts! The Activities Host is an entry-level position with room for immediate advancement into more senior roles.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, sports, or recreation and love working with people. In this role, you will be directly responsible for amazing guest experiences. A positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and learning is a must! The Activities Host is on the front line of the guest experience working across all East Side activities including Paddlesports, Mountain Bikes, Kids Adventure Zone, Archery/Archery Tag, Water Tag, Axe Throwing, and Digital Activities (Tactical Laser Tag, AR Adventure games).

The Guest Experience Representative is responsible for the customer journey for all guests in the park. The Guest Experience Representative is in charge of the check in process for all customers including walk up sales, verifying waivers, enforcing safety requirements, rain check/refunds, and merchandise sales. The goal of this role is to ensure brand standards of excellence, answer inquiries and sell customers on The Forge: Lemont Quarries services and activities while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
The Guest Experience Representative develops, implements, and continually evaluates the customer journey cycle, with short- and long-term goals that support the mission of The Forge: Lemont Quarries.

We are looking for a Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor to join our team and take on everything F&B! Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple aspects in relation to the food and beverage program. The successful candidate will assist in the management of F&B operations, inventory, and staffing. This includes our grab and go facility, roving cart, Adventure Dining experiences, and many park-wide events and private activities.
This will be an active role. Not only in the sense that you will be active in the day to day operations of the Lemont Quarries Adventure Park, but also that you will be handling tasks as they occur in the park. This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL AND SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position, you must be available to work a full-time schedule with additional weekend and holiday hours as needed to address immediate concerns and peak season maintenance issues that may arise. This means being able to work upwards of 50 or more hours per week during the peak season.
Additionally, because our business is the operation of an outdoor adventure park, you must be willing to work in all seasonal outdoor weather conditions as operational and management duties may require. This means that you must be willing and able to climb onto park facilities such as cargo container structures and park attractions as necessary and lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
The Forge: Lemont Quarries (TFLQ) is looking for an Education Programming Coordinator to
join the Educate team. We are seeking a collaborative team member who has a passion for
Outdoor Educational Programming, Community Outreach, and Teaching. The Education
Programming Coordinator will work directly with the Education Programming Director to assist in
the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of all educational programs.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who is comfortable in a leadership position while
being a collaborative and contributing member of a team. They will be highly organized,
comfortable with public speaking, and energetic with the ability to work independently. Regular
interaction with the Education Programming Director and other staff members includes weekly
team meetings, one-on-one scheduled meetings, regular constructive brainstorming and
problem solving sessions, and daily communication so that we can achieve our goals together.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding, patient and receptive attitude
towards students of varied age groups including adults in small as well as large group activities.
They will have a growth mindset and an enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.
