Assistant Recreation Manager (Ropes Course)

Assistant Recreation Managers are key members of the Recreation Department’s leadership team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the park. You will oversee ropes course procedures, act as Manager on Duty, and provide guidance to staff to ensure a safe, high-quality experience for all guests. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who models professional standards and excels in risk management and customer service.
Assistant Recreation Manager (Explorer)
Seasonal (Summer) Part-Time
Assistant Recreation Managers for Explorer Activities support daily operations by coordinating programs and acting as a primary responder in emergency scenarios. This role involves overseeing staff breaks, identifying staffing needs, and maintaining in-depth knowledge of all Exhilarate activities. We are looking for professional leaders who are inclusive, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and guests.
Seasonal (Summer) Part-Time
Recreation Supervisors are the backbone of The Forge: Lemont Quarries, supporting the leadership team while facilitating daily operations and staff rotations. You will act as a Leader on Duty, assist with activity maintenance, and serve as a “floater” to fill operational gaps as needed. This role requires exceptional decision-making skills, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to work calmly under pressure both at height and on the ground.

Event Staff play a key role in delivering memorable experiences by assisting with guest flow, activities, and event execution. Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset are a must. The ideal candidate is outgoing, reliable, and enjoys working with guests in a lively outdoor setting.

Technicians are the backbone of The Forge: Lemont Quarries’ physical operations, ensuring our facilities and equipment are safe, functional, and ready for adventure. You will perform essential repairs and preventative maintenance across the park—from mechanical and electrical systems to grounds and general infrastructure—while responding promptly to operational needs. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with a hands-on work ethic who takes pride in maintaining a world-class guest environment.
