This is your opportunity to participate in the restoration and beautification of the Heritage Quarries Recreation Area by participating in projects to clear invasive plants, remove decades-old litter and trash, improve public trails, and more.

Volunteers are the backbone of our community. As a volunteer, you have endless opportunities to make a difference, share your skills, and connect with people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. The Forge Charitable Adventures is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that exists to help improve the health of our communities by restoring and preserving nature, promoting active stewardship of the environment, and providing access to outdoor education and recreation opportunities to people of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic circumstances.

Friends of The Forge volunteers can participate in the restoration and beautification of the Heritage Quarries Recreation Area through park conservation and clean-up projects, trail restoration and development, special events support, and more all year long.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome! Children aged 14 and under require adult supervision by a parent or guardian.
