Welcome all young anglers 5-16 years-old! The Forge "Fish for Fun" Fishing Derby is the place for anglers to kick off the fishing season! Come cast a line with us at the Heritage Quarries Recreation Area for some of the best fishing in the Chicagoland area.

Kiddie Division:

Ages: 5-8 y/o
Entry: $5 per registered participant
Awards: medal of participation

Junior Division

Ages: 9-16 y/o
Entry: $10 per registered participant
Award: $50 Cash Prize for MOST fish caught

Our Forge Fishing Experts will be on hand to assist and offer tips for the best fishing experience. We will be fishing on the Lower Quarry Shelf. Only fish caught there will be eligible for the prize. Please arrive at the Lower Quarry Shelf, next to Paddlesports, at 6:30 am to check-in.
