February marks The Annual Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) where bird watchers of all ages worldwide engage in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. What we see on our walks will be noted and added into the GBBC! We will contact you with the results and link so you can monitor your contributions.

Join Illinois Extension Master Naturalist Bob Schwaan as he leads our Forge Bird Walk. Bob is a Lemont resident who enjoys photography and shares his expertise with the Sierra Club, Midewin Tallgrass, and many other prominent organizations.
