As an ambassador for the arts, the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra offers an incredible opportunity for family entertainment. The annual Memorial Weekend Military Salute honoring the men and women of our nation’s armed forces has been a perennial source of inspiration for the past 14 years. Whether it’s the wonder of Christmas, the magic of Disney favorites, a salute to Broadway, or countless other themed concerts, Chicagoland Pops has a rich tradition of delighting audiences of all ages.
Formed by Springbrook Community Church in 2009, the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra has gained enthusiastic community involvement and drawn widespread interest as a dynamic musical organization. The orchestra has attracted involvement by professionals, educators, and gifted instrumentalists across Chicagoland. The Pops concerts capture the imagination of children and adults alike with a fast-paced, informal approach to great music from the stage, screen and television as well as orchestral classics.
