Our camps foster curiosity and play-based learning through a variety of fun, safe, educational, recreational, and group activities—all outdoors at The Forge: Lemont Quarries Adventure Park. Choose the 3-day session(s) that work for your family.

Camp Details

Half-days of camp from 8:30am-12:30pm from Tuesday - Thursday 

  • $275 per 3-day session
  • Daily snacks are included
  • Registration includes a Forge bandana

  • July 18th - 20th
  • July 25th - 27th
  • August 1st - 3rd

  • Bikes (Camp Coyote has a variety of trikes, big wheels and wagons, as well as safety helmets for camper use during bike time. However, they are welcome to bring their own bike and safety gear. )

Requirements

Our camp mottos at The Forge are to be safe, responsible and respectful.

  • Children must be three years old by their first day of camp
  • Due to the outdoor nature of our program, children must be toilet trained; no diapers or pull-ups.
  • Children must be able to communicate wants and needs.
  • Children must be able to understand and follow a clear set of directions in order to be safe.

What time is drop-off and pick-up?
  • Drop-Off at Kids Adventure Zone (nearest to Parking Lot 2) between 8:15-8:30am
  • Pick-Up at Kids Adventure Zone (nearest to Parking Lot 2) between 12:30-12:45pm
How will campers be separated?

Campers will be separated into age groups so that they will be met with activities that peak their interests and abilities.

Can The Forge refund or prorate your camper for missing days?

We cannot. We understand that summer can be hectic but we encourage parents to book their campers for a session that they can attend all three days and get the best experience possible!

  • We do not offer pro-rating or refunds
Who is facilitating Camp Coyote?

Quarry Camp is designed and created by educators with a combined 30+years of experience working in camps, schools, and community programming.

  • Led by our Educational Program Director and Camp Coordinator, extensive hiring efforts are underway to find mature, creative, and AWESOME college, high school and adult camp Lead Counselors.
  • All counselors will be trained in CPR, AED and Basic First Aid along with The Forge Adventure Guides and staff, and have a deep commitment to creating the safest camp environment possible.
  • All counselors will also go through extensive training in activities, inclusion, diversity, and much more to ensure the best camp experience for all campers.
  • Awesome adult, college & high school camp Lead Counselors who are 16+ years in age will be engaging and facilitating the campers each week.
Will my camper need to bring their own bike and helmet?

Camp Coyote has a variety of trikes, big wheels and wagons, as well as safety helmets for camper use during bike time. However, they are welcome to bring their own bike and safety gear. 

What kind of snacks will be provided?

All our Coyotes will have options such as; water, apple juice, popcorn, Cheez-Itz, applesauce, pretzels, cheese sticks, fruit, no sugar-added fruit cups.

Allergies, gluten-free, diabetic friendly choices will be made available per parent request.

Is camp always outdoors?

Yes! We play outside in rain or shine! Please prepare your coyote for the elements with proper shoes, rain boots, jackets and an extra change of clothes (just in case).

 

* Camp will be cancelled for extreme weather conditions.

What is the camp cancellation policy?

Summer camp programming occurs rain or shine. Refunds will be offered up to 3 weeks prior to the start of camp. Credit or changes (availability permitting) are allowed up to 48 hours before the start date.
